Mayan Writing Activity (Spanish)

In this beautifully designed 2 page worksheet video activity (for Spanish teachers), students will watch a documentary clip on Mayan architecture about the city of Pelenque. Students will then use the Preterit Tense (with a focus on the Irregular Preterit) to write about the architecture and technology of that time. The second section of the activity has students answer questions and brainstorm ideas for how they would have redesigned certain aspects of the city. This activity is an excellent way for students to practice grammar and learn about culture at the same time.
The video url, word bank, and grammar notes, are located on the worksheet. Please purchase this engaging activity for your students today and enjoy!
