Miss Minto’s Musical Moment – Number 55 – Boundin’

https://youtu.be/7WyR4AqRweY

Boundin’ – a Pixar Short film

This film gives out two messages:

  1. Be yourself and love yourself no matter what you look like.

Loving yourself is called SELF-ESTEEM.

You should never allow someone else to put you down and make you feel small.
Be happy with yourself and make it your business to build other people up as well.

  1. If something happens that gets you down – pick yourself up and move on.

Picking yourself up after a knock is called RESILIENCE.

It is a very good life skill – being able to accept that something you do not like has happened then moving onwards and upwards and not letting whatever has happened keep you down for too long.

There are quite a few animals in this film. One of the main characters is a Jackalope.

A Jackalope is a mythical North American animal which is described as a jack rabbit with antelope horns.

See how many animals you can name that appear in the film.

NB: During online learning I have been producing Miss Minto’s Musical Moments. These are freely available for use with pupils and are suitable for primary aged children. Some will appear on TES and some on the Facebook page for Notable Songs Ltd. Search using: “Miss Minto’s Musical Moments”. There are several dozen “Musical Moments”!
