Leading on from work on inference from Prehistoric lessons, students brainstorm stereotypical features of Ancient Egypt (Nile, pyramids, gods, hieroglyphics, pharaohs, mummies etc) and then whole class discussion can open up what these things suggest about the society as a whole.\nStudents then need to write a 'spirit of the age&' piece which has a set word limit.
