A booklet of work designed for transition years and literacy style interventions for weaker students. While aimed at Year 7 transition groups it does well for a good year 5/6 or a weaker year 8/9.
The booklet takes students through the mystery of the Highwayman and encourages to read the poems, letters and profiles of the people involved. They must in turn help determine and catch the real Highwayman through a range of their literacy skills.
The resource is a good quality intervention or short unit of work designed to be engaging and themed around events and locations in history.

Excellent Resource ! PDF did not work when downloaded as a bundle. But when re-downloaded as an individual file the PDF worked. <br /> <br /> Resources are of an excellent quality!
I can't open the PDF booklet, so the resource is not useful. Very disappointed to see that someone else said the same 9 days ago as I thought this would have been fixed by now.
