#### Simple Method of Multiplication

Each number is drawn as a straight lines, so 2 is two lines. To multiply 2 x 6, you draw 2 parallel lines for 2 and 6 lines for 6 at right angles. The result is the times the numbers cross. you just count these up. no prior need to understand division at all, just the ability to draw straight lines and count the intersections. It can be made simpler for 10, 11,12 by just drawing 10 , 11 or 12 straight lines. These are not my video's but on youtube. But the ease of use of this method and it simplicity should help any student to do multiplication and see where the result comes from.
