GREAT FOR COVER LESSONS OR HOMEWORK

This resource contains a worksheet (and answer sheet, with answer timings in the documentary) for pupils to complete as they watch episode 2of the 2021 Netflix documentary series “Human: The World Within” - (52-minutes).

This episode is called “Pulse” and is about the structure and function of the circulatory system.

This fits in nicely with the B4 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as is discusses the heart, blood, blood vessels and problems with the heart such as coronary heart disease/heart attacks.

The worksheet contains 14 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged and 1 longer reflection question at the end.

(Please note: I used the English (UK) spelling for the term haemoglobin within the answers)
