A set of revision resources for 4.3 - Infection and Response unit (new AQA GCSE scheme of work).
The download includes a checklist to enable pupils to carry out independent revision prior to the revision lesson. During the lesson, pupils are given a set of questions as a starter to assess their understanding of the topic. Their answers to these will generate a revision pathway of different activities for them to complete within the lesson. Answers are also provided so that pupils may assess their own progress throughout.
The concept of the revision lesson is easily adaptable to a range of topics and subjects (some of the Biology ones can be found in my TES store).
I have been observed with this lesson by Ofsted and was judged 'outstanding' (when judgements were still given) due to the high level of personalisation it offers to each pupil.
