New AQA C10.11 (New GCSE Spec 4.10 - exams 2018) – Production and uses of NPK fertilisers (TRIPLE)

There are three slides of information regarding npk fertilisers; what they are, the purpose of them, where the raw materials come from, each with tasks to complete. There is then a method of a practical that students can follow to make ammonium sulphate fertiliser in the lab. Then finally, since these are triple chemistry students there is an independent research task for pupils to complete to compare the lab based method they have just carried out, to industrial scale. The lesson also begins with some retrieval practice of the prerequisite knowledge they need for this lesson to check their understanding. <br /> Overall, surely not as bad as you describe!
