A lesson used between years 8-11 on the heart and blood vessels. I do double lessons in Science but it can easily be put into two. For the heart lesson, I usually do a heart dissection instead of the video and questions and get students to create a write up of the practical including: what parts they identified and how they minimized any risks during the practical.
Lot of activities included with differentiation and extension questions.
