KS1 Christmas - New Toys Creative Writing Activity
This activity provides pupils with a letter from Father Christmas requesting ideas for new toys. Pupils are tasked with discussing what kind of toys they think should be picked, writing a list of the toys including what they do and how they work. They must then explain why they should be picked, persuading Father Christmas to pick their ideas. This is a great activity for pupils to work on in small groups, discussing and drawing their ideas, before writing a persuasive letter back to Father Christmas. This is a great creative writing activity to use in the run-up to Christmas.
