No Throwing Things - Social Story.
This social story is designed to help elementary-aged students understand when it is safe to throw objects and when it is not. The story explains appropriate times for throwing, such as during sports and games, and contrasts them with unsafe times, like in the classroom, at people, or when feeling upset. Children will learn about the possible dangers and consequences of throwing things, including hurting others, damaging property, and injuring themselves.

The 14-page social story also provides clear, child-friendly strategies for expressing strong feelings in healthy and safe ways, such as deep breathing, using words, squeezing a stress ball, or asking for a break.

With simple text and engaging visuals, this story is intended for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. It can be used at school or at home to teach safe behavior, encourage emotional regulation, and support positive social skills.
