Oceans: Set of 4 vocab learning mats

This English language acquisition resource includes 4 printable word mats for the classroom (relevant for EAL, ESL & ELS learning):

• Ocean vocabulary word mat (teaches 11 words with colourful, corresponding images).

• Ocean vocabulary image mat (11 fun corresponding images that can be printed and used to create posters, flashcards or matching games in the classroom).

• Ocean vocabulary bilingual word mat (space for teachers and students to add translations in their mother tongue).

• Ocean vocabulary sentence mat (model sentences using the 11 words correctly).

The mats are in pdf format and can be printed as many times as wished for your language students.

This resource may also be used by Early Years and Primary teachers to consolidate key vocabulary in an oceans-related Unit of Work and support language development for students receiving English Language Support.
