These are 2 listening lessons on the Romantic Concerto. They would ideally follow on from my lessons on the Baroque Concerto and the Classical Concerto which are also up for sale.
The first lesson (titled Lesson 6) is all about Tchaikosky's Piano Concerto No 1. The whole lesson focuses on the 'Describe the Features' question on the listening exam that many of my students struggle with as they think it requires complicated answers. Hopefully they way i have taught this has broken it down so students understand even basic answers are correct.
The second lesson (titled Lesson 7) covers the Rachmaninov Piano No 2 and Dvorak's Cello Concerto. There is a card sort activity and the listening questions also include a fill in the blank notes that would appear in the listening exam.
All answers are provided and the powerpoints are easy to follow. If you need more guidance please comment.
