A great lesson to begin any Of Mice and Men Scheme of Work/Learning. Pupils look at 8 variations of the book’s cover, find similarities and differences between them and then make five predictions focusing on the plot, setting and characters of John Steinbeck’s novella. The lesson includes; a lesson plan, a bell task/bell work, learning objectives and a starter main and plenary.

EDIT 06/07 Spelling and punctuation errors which appear in the icon on the first slide have now been corrected in the resource.

A differentiated version of the task has also been added to the resource to support lower ability learners.
