This Paddington Movie Viewing Guide (PG - 2014) challenges students to learn life lessons from the experiences of Paddington Bear. Based on the famous character and stories written by Michael Bond, Paddington explores a new world and learns an important lesson about being comfortable in his own skin. During his exciting and entertaining journey he also transforms the Brown family and the way they interact with one another. The movie guide consists of 11 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.

An answer key is not included as many questions are open-ended and encourage students to analyze the film. Many answers will not fit into a ‘box’. Students are encouraged to construct their own meaning from the characters’ dialogue and behavior.
