PANJANGO TOP 10s - CAREERS GAME

Panjango Top 10s is a fast-paced naming game where players race to name as many of the Top 10 examples of a topic relating to the world of work as they can in 60 seconds e.g. ‘jobs in a hospital’, ‘famous inventors’ or ‘places an electrician might work’ etc.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the lesson, students will:

• Explore more World of Work (WOW) language and different careers
• Apply their careers knowledge to a wide range of game challenges
• Learn new Labour Market Information
• Work cooperatively as a team towards a shared goal

The activity is designed to last 45-60 minutes and the content is written primarily for students in Key Stage 3.

The main lesson presentation is downloadable and editable in Powerpoint format so you can tailor the content to the specific needs of your pupils.

The Lesson Plan contains full instructions for accessing the game site and playing the Top 10s game.
