Simple activity I use this as part of Year 7s' sewing machine introduction activity. It works well with a smart board I ask the pupils to come and to tap where they think the part is. Its best to make a note of the order that the parts appear in the PowerPoint to ensure that you ask them in the right order!
I use this activity as a starter with my Y7's and / or 8's when they have been introduced to the sewing machines. I give them two minutes with the worksheet that includes the names then give them the blank copy to see how many parts they can correctly identify.
Used to help students correctly identify parts of the sewing machine. Once copy with all the parts labelled and one without so the students can complete the worksheet from memory. (Updated Oct 2012 to correct error).
