Perfect Picture Stories for Excellent Writing ( 25-28)

Perfect Picture Stories address Common Core Standards for Writing and the needs of teachers for the creative visual prompts, the lists of linking, transitional, temporal and other essential words, and the guidelines for better and more fluid writing. These stories are also good for pre-essay wring practice.

Each Perfect Picture Stories for Excellent Writing Packet includes :

• 4 pages of different 6-framed pictures stories (good for speaking practice, too)

• stimulus questions for each story

• vocabulary

• lists of linking words, temporal words, transitional words and many more words for more better writing

• guidelines for excellent writing using Perfect Picture Stories

• simple rubric for easier grading and checklist for students

The stories suggested by the pictures are:

25- A dad suggests to his bored children that they rake the autumn leaves. They are surprised to find out how fun it is.

26- A little boy helps his family move. He is later found asleep on a pile of bedroom pillows.

27- Two clowns are selling balloons in the park. One clown asks the other to hold his balloons, but they take him into the air where he has misfortunes.

28- A shipwrecked man finds his way to a “deserted” island where he lives for years. He is not aware that all this time on the other side is “civilization”.
