This is a handy, at-a-glance scaffold to show pupils just how many different ways sounds can be spelt.
The card can be laminated as a double-sided resource. I have used it with young pupils during phonics for 'best bet&' spelling activities and have given it to Year 5 and 6 children to use as a spelling aid in class - the card can easily be slotted into a Literacy book.
