Phonics book 7 y z q th whole class reading for whiteboard and tablets letters and sounds phonics

Use this reading book on the whiteboard for whole class practising of reading new sounds as they are learned. Book 1 practises SATP. Each chapter of the book practises one sound, so the first chapter practises s ( around 4 pages for approx 20 mins reading as a class). Chapter 2 introduces the A sound so now children read along all the s and a sounds and blend them together where appropriate. Chapter 3 introduces t, so now on the third lesson, children can blend sta sat ast ats and read all the s, a and t sounds. They also practise ‘as’ , ‘a’, and ‘at’. The set of books introduce a letter and sound per chapter following the order laid out in the the letters and sounds synthetic phonics programme.
