Sensory maths stories are a great way to introduce pupils at P 1-4 to maths, with a subject that is often difficult to keep fresh and engaging. The aim of this maths story is to engage pupils with maths in a fun and interactive way and is centered around the idea of visiting a fair. You will need to gather a few resources as your props - hopefully things you will find around your classroom. It is planned to be used once or twice a week over a half term - you will find that the story improves with the telling! It is important to have as much fun as possible!
