A chemical and physical double lesson for my year 5s. The actual materials used as ingredients are listed on page 4 (which I didn't print on the pupils' booklets). They completed their potions in pairs and made observations. We then completed the "physical/chemical" and the "evidence" column afterwards, to really encourage them to observe. Page 3 was completed over the next double lesson, enabling consolidation. Potions idea was taken from another user but adapted into a booklet for use with my class.
