This resource is a fully differentiated lesson aimed at teaching GCSE Physics, and links to the Energy and Energy resources.

This lesson has 5 learning objectives that are structured in the IDEAL format:

*Identify factors that make an object more powerful than another.

*Describe the difference between energy and power.

*Explain how to calculate the power of a device.

*Apply your understanding of power and efficiency to calculate the efficiency of a device.

*Link P=I^2R and E=Pt to calculate the resistance of a device.

This lesson is designed with a challenge objective and challenge questions throughout to stretch your most able students, whilst supporting your LA students. All answers to the questions are provided.
