Pressure Groups (New Edexcel A Level Politics lessons 7, 8 & 9)
Three lessons examining the methods used by pressure groups and delivering feedback on the practice exam question set previously. For use with textbook: UK Government and Politics for AS/A-Level, 5th ed., by Philip Lynch, Paul Fairclough and Toby Cooper (Hodder Education). These resources are from the UK Politics component.

Lesson 7: should 16 & 17 year-olds be allowed to vote?; what are pressure groups?; sectional vs promotional pressure groups; insider vs outsider pressure groups; functions of pressure groups.

Lesson 8: methods used by different pressure groups and why groups would want to use them; the difference between pressure groups and political parties.

Lesson 9: recap starter worksheet of pressure groups and the different methods they use; feedback sheet on the exam question; exam technique discussion with example answers provided and analysed.
