Primary whole school history scheme of work with progression grids

This is a whole school scheme of work for history. It is ready to edit in a word document for customising with your school name and logo. It covers all statutory national curriculum learning and is organised into 2 units per school year. There are progression grids for historical concepts and knowledge with an overview of the units of work.

Each unit is clearly organised with an enquiry questions, concept focus and skill content with a list of vocabulary used. Each unit has a list of 12 lessons with Learning Objectives, skills focus, suggested activites and SEND / differentiation opportunities. The scheme has been developed with SEND children in mind and the activities focus heavily on role play, discussion and debate and creative outcomes.
