Testing this idea of giving students a ruler that has additional information such as times tables, fractions and directed numbers and percentage (using double number lines). An explanation is provided for teachers on the first page (with a few different examples to the ruler) and a blank ruler if you want to make your own. The idea is that pages 2 and 3 are printed, cut out and then stuck back to back (if you like), laminated and then students always have a ruler and support material. There is a Name spot at the top right corner and a circle which we can hole punch - if this works, I will make a variety of rulers for support which can then be hung together on a ring and added / removed as needed.
22/7/17 added measurement ruler (perimeter, area, volume, converting units, angles)
6/3/18 updated Trig and Pythagoras’ Theorem (put one side on the back of a different ruler for Further students or back to back for Methods students)
8/5/18 Measurement updated.
28/5/18 Percentage intro level added using double number lines
