An interactive PowerPoint presentations which teaches pupils how to write a number as a product of its prime factors using prime factor trees. Applications are also covered. Interactive videos demonstrating the method are embedded into the PowerPoint, as well as questions and answers for pupils.

The PowerPoint contains roughly three lessons’ worth of work on: 1) How to write a number as a product of its prime factors; 2) How to use prime factorisation to find least squares and square roots; 3) How to find the HCF and LCM of a pair of numbers using prime factorisation and Venn Diagrams.

I have also included WJEC GCSE questions in a separate PDF, and a plenary worksheet.
