Now updated to include most equations for AQA's 2016 draft specification (trilogy). I have now included individual topic versions too, so this resource is a little more helpful before the 2016 exams.
When you open the spreadsheet, enable macro's and IGNORE any LINKS if these options comes up! Will work on removing the link issue over the few weeks. Check back for an update or message me for any queries.

Each of these spreadsheets will randomly select an AQA core or additional physics equation and it will randomly select 2 numbers to use in order to calculate the missing part of the equation. On a different excel tab on the spreadsheet the row with the answers on will be highlighted. Students can check their own answer and the unit that should go with it. I made this mainly to use in class for exam question practice in starters/ plenaries. Students quite often are great at a single equation that has been used in 1 or 2 lessons, but in the long run they can struggle with rearranging other equations/ units they have not used in a while. I also intend on giving this tool to the students themselves, so that they can use this at home as part of their revision strategy. I have password protected the each of the Excel tabs so that students can't edit or break the spreadsheet on our schools shared area. I have provided the password for this in the separate file, in case you wanted to edit the files. I hope you find it useful. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and if you have any problems then please message me so I can help you resolve these. Only downside is once you have pressed the button for new random numbers you can't go back to the numbers or answers you had previously.
GCSE subject areas: Earth and space/ Energy and electricity/ Force and motion/ Matter/ Scientific methodology/ Waves.
This resource could easily be adapted for other numeracy based subjects!

9-1 Physics AQA Feedback/ exam practice and G&T checklist

9-1 GCSE Physics (Trilogy and triple all in one) AQA feedback system designed to automate feedback in books for students. This can be used and adapted for any subject! I have had multiple HMI/ Ofsted and in house observations that have seen the use of this feedback system and received very good feedback on it. You cant argue with student specific feedback on every lesson taught, whilst almost eliminating written marking time as the feedback is printed from mail merge. Students score themselves (or teachers) score 1, 2 or 3 in terms of confidence/ ability on a subject/ lesson I teach. 1= low confidence/ needs easy questions and/or extra help. 3 is stretch and challenge questions and/or top end questions. 3 can be same question but with less support or can be a question that vaguely links to the topic and student are required to push them selves to find out answers. Once scores are in the fun begins! Each number 1, 2 or 3 links to a varied comment, (other subjects can adapt and change the comment banks to suit their subject). This comment is transferred into a mail merged tab on the spreadsheet. The separate word document uses this mail merge tab on the spreadsheet to input the score linked comments into a printable sheet for each student. Answer booklets included. The end result is all students get individual feedback on every lesson I teach in this unit. My comments are exam question linked. The spreadsheet scores are are RAG, easy see focus areas. When it comes to revision, I revisit the scores with students, update these and hey presto- print another feedback sheet with different questions! You can edit or alter the comment bank anytime and update and change the feedback depending on your group, skills or topics covered. My questions are sourced from exam papers and some answers etc were sourced from BBC bitesize e.g, a few of the tables and info for small summaries. When opening each word document for mail merge, 'find source' may eventually pop up after some errors tracing the data file source. The source you need to select will be the Excel spreadsheet with student scores on. You will then need to select the core mail merge option if this pops up after. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Will AQA Physics random equation generator+answers. Revision/ exam practice. G&T checklist for learning walks and pupil pursuits

Looks really good. I'm am hoping to use it so students can begin to remember the equations.
