A reading exam based on an extract from the novel HOLES. This exam paper mimics the 8700 AQA language exam style questions from paper 1 section A. This can be delivered without students having studied the novel. I use this as a weekly assessment. I give them questions 1-2, then question 3 then question 4 so I can assess their ability to deal with the AOs and the exam style questions. Suitable for year 7 or 8 students depending on their ability.
