Reading target bookmarks for pink to lime bookband levels

This is a whole school resource for a set of bookmarks to be photocopied double-sided and laminated. On one side there are strategies for what to do when faced with an unfamiliar word and a reminder for key words to use when discussing a book e.g. blurb, author, illustrator, predict. On the other side, each pair of consecutive reading levels pink/red, yellow/blue, green/orange etc. have targets to promote reading and comprehension at home (and in school) and help parents support their child, entitled, 'When you hear me read, please help me to...'
