You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different activities and objects being shown in each of the photos.

I have mixed together images from Remembrance Day and International Peace Day. I have added a PowerPoint which shows you how to combine images from both to make 31 different fun activities to try with the class.

The writing prompts are focusing on how nice it is we have a peaceful world. The students can focus on what the sacrifice of many has meant for you and me.

You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching display about Remembrance Day.
The students could also take the laminated photos and sort them into different Remembrance Day activities. The students can then discuss what they think each one was representing.
The photos could also be used as prompts for creative writing, factual writing or descriptive writing.
