Designed for GCSE Physics students, this card sort is a matching activity for combinations of resistors. Cards contain 24 different combinations of resistors in series and parallel for students to match up with the correct answers. This can be used as a starter, plenary or within the lesson itself as an alternative, or introduction to calculations involving resistors. The full set could be used with small groups, or a set could be split with a smaller number of cards available for individual students. There is also the opportunity to differentiate for higher and lower ability students.

Great activity - but if we are paying for a resource I would expect to have the answers to save time and make students more independent in checking these. Now I need to sit and work these out too.
