This is a lesson for my Year 10, who are undertaking AQA GCSE History. I glued the first four statements on sugar papers and spread them over four tables. Then I put red, green and black pens on each of the four tables. The students then had to agree, disagree or make comments on the statements in stages (see power-point). When it came to the black pen stage, I let the pupils rotate the room as they wished. Then the students attempted a 10 mark question on the failure of the League, which they peer marked. The home-work was a source analysis task. My group really liked the lesson.
