Roll Your Way to Fluency in Kindergarten

Fluency is the ability to read a text accurately, quickly, and with expression. Since fluency develops gradually over time, fluency in kindergarten looks a little different. Kindergarten fluency begins with the alphabet, moves on to nonsense words, CVC words, sight words, CVCe words, and eventually sentences.

With these fluency mats, students will simply roll a dice and read the line that aligns with that number.
