This 12-page resource analyses the full five-act Romeo and Juliet play within the left-hand column and provides notes on Act I in the right column. It then challenges the student to compile a similar range of notes, by example. The resource contains suggestions on 'How to read Shakespeare' and visuals to act as discussion points where students can gain a deeper understanding of both Shakespeare's writing and the climate of the era in which he wrote.
