Romeo & Juliet - Lesson 3 - Single Award English

Pitched for learners between grades E-C. The lesson is planned to be 90 minutes in length. Focus of the lesson is understanding the family relationships and structures within R&J but also getting students to engage with opening text and Act 3, Scene 5 in RéJ, looking at theme of power in the latter, preparing for a culmination in writing a controlled assessment on the theme of power in the play.
