A WHOOSH! drama activity for “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare.

The teacher narrates a story summary and calls in students from the circle to mime the characters, be props and create settings.
A great activity to introduce the story and themes, or summarise as a fun revision activity. Great for engaging students with Shakespeare and proving it’s FUN!

Teacher script, student lines and a “Whoosh - How To” included.

If you enjoy, please review! :-)

The best whoosh I have ever used! Great humour running throughout, could you do a Christmas Carol One and Inspector Calls one too??? Really brilliant!

My class of reluctant, shy teenagers loved it. Thank you so much. This activity helped solidify the class. First enjoyable drama lesson in a long time.

I haven't actually used this with a class but it looks like a great resource, it covers the play well and has lots of humour -- I am sure any class would enjoy it.
