This is a Scottish National 4/5 History lesson on the Homes fit for Heroes/Addison Act. While the content is appropriate for experiences of people from across Britain, some activities are tailored towards the Scottish examination system. As I operate a mixed class, there are activities designed for both National 4 and National 5 included within the lesson.
Students learn about the reasons for the Addison Act, its aim, and its successes and failures/weaknesses. National 4 students will then undertake a poster task while National 5 students will complete practice source questions.
