This is a Scottish National 4/5 History lesson on the industrial changes in Scotland during and after WWI. As I operate a mixed class, there are activities designed for both National 4 and National 5 included within the lesson.

Students will undertake a jigsaw task in which they become experts on one of the Scottish industries affected by WWI. They will look at short term impacts (during the war), and long term impacts (after the war). They will also learn about new industries after WWI, and the impact this had on Scotland. Students will then complete practice exam style source questions and a storyboard activity.
