SOW produced for a Year 10 BTEC/GCSE group, focusing on fine art textiles processes. Could be used for any Ks4 class, or even Year 9. Begins with drawing/painting skills and incorporates batik, shibori, weaving, felt-making processes in addition.
This project runs from September - January but could be shortened by taking out some techniques.
Has BTEC and GCSE assessment objectives written in, as I teach this to a class learning both endorsements.
Numerous sketchbook examples, examples of levelled final pieces and weekly homework is also included.
