Many GCSE Business Studies exam board specifications require students to select and justify a suitable marketing mix for a particular type of business (e.g. a small start up one in the local area).

This resources provides a great activity for introducing all the integrated activities of a business' marketing mix including product, price, promotion and place, as well as the factors that affect the choice of marketing mix.

The Key Lesson Objectives / Aims are:
1. Understand different factors that affect a business’s marketing mix
2. Select an appropriate marketing mix for a business

Students can work in pairs/ groups/ independently when completing the different tasks, and the tasks also encourage Bloom's taxonomy higher level thinking skills.
