In a standard text on open and distance learning, computer conferencing appears with advantages and disadvantages that rely on the capacity of the conference to 'facilitate&' students and staff working together (Mason, 1994). Co-operation or collaboration are seen as unproblematic outcomes of the use of the computer conference. Hiltz noted that collaboration is both technically facilitated and becomes a moral requirement that involves a respecification of the teacher&';s role (Hiltz and Benbunan-Fich, 1997, p. 1).
Eleven spelling lists for each term (two levels of difficulty) with supporting teacher documents. Please note: List 1 for the Autumn Term is blank as we use it for words appropriate to our own school. It could be filled with topic or revision words. Each list is referenced to the Support for Spelling 2 and Spelling Bank documents. I have also included a resources column which has references to books we have in our school and links to relevant Internet sites. Please leave feedback if you use this resource.
