Part 3 will take you to Jiuzhaigou in the valley of 9 villages. This World Heritage area has a series of spectacular lakes and waterfalls. In the past the area has been the natural habitat of giant pandas but now pandas are rarely seen. Popular with tourists - mainly Chinese - the Conservation Park has a policy of environment protection in order to achieve sustainability of the natural resources. There are pandas displayed on buses; remembered in lakes and existing in cast models in the garden area. However no pandas have been seen in the valleys and around the lakes where bamboos thrive. This unit will stand alone. It can be put with the other 3 titles of Sichuan Province.
