This lesson is an observable lesson in social stratification; looking at areas of gender, age, ethnicity and class. The lesson assumes a basic level of sociology is already obtained by pupils - e.g. socialisation, society etc.
The worksheets are included, one of which is a differentiated sheet to help structure the notes for those that struggle with writing. Stretch and Challenge is included within the lesson, along with 'creativity across the curriculum' - which can help hit some targets.
The lesson will track progress throughout, there is an examination style question with a mark scheme at the end which can be gone through orally.
The lesson is fully customisable to timings and could also have some tasks/content added in to suit the needs of the learner.
