Spanish Direct Object Pronouns and Food Chant and Student Activity
Spanish Direct Object Pronouns and Food Chant and Student Activity - This download includes the following: 1. Chant - 28 lines with a clip art image illustrating each of the 14 food words. 2. Chant without the Spanish food word so students have to say it from memory and looking at the clip art. 3. Chant with Spanish and English food words and the direct object pronouns missing so students must figure out what goes in the blanks. 4. Student activity chant template so students can add their own food words and direct object pronouns and create their own versions of the chant. This fun chant contains 14 different food words, direct object pronouns lo, la, los, and las, me gustaria, lo siento, the verb ver, the command pasame, and 14 different names of girls and boys. Sample food words included are jugo, pudin, tostada, camarones, and postre. The first line of each stanza is a person asking another to pass a food. The response on the second line substitutes a direct object pronoun for the food word. The repetitive nature and cadence help students learn the vocabulary quickly. Once they do, they enjoy seeing how quickly they can say the chant!
