Special objects we cannot touch sorting activity
Each table in my class was given a set of these pictures cut up. They took it in turns to pull one from the envelope and discussed if the object was special, who it was special to, and how we should touch/hold it, if at all. They then sorted the pictures into groups accordingly. I included some prompt questions to support their group talk. The feedback was incredibly interesting and well considered. I linked this into our Judaism topic and how the Torah scroll cannot be touched.
