Hello! Thanks for stopping by my little store. I'm a high school English teacher in California and I make resources that are functional and beautiful. I'm a teacher, wife, and mother (to three boys) by day and photographer who loves graphic design in my spare time. I hope you enjoy the things I make for my students and share with you!

This is an effective way to have students analyze ANY speech. Included are three separate worksheets with a variety of questions that are guaranteed to prompt critical thinking and reflection.

You are receiving:
-3 separate handouts ready to go
-Questions covering author's purpose, sentence structure, tone, rhetoric, and more.

Lesson Ideas:
-Use a doc cam and model how to fill out the form using a mentor text. Then students should work on the handout individually or with a partner on their own speech.
-Allow students to choose their own speech to analyze and then compare answers with their group.
-Play a video of the speech and have students fill out the form as they watch.
**This is a great way to stay relevant! You can have students ready to analyze a speech the day after the speech is given!
