Spelling activities to encourage children to learn their spellings.

A set of activities to teach your pupils. Focus on one activity a week so they can learn how to use the activity to help them learn those difficult spellings (tricky words, polysyllabic words etc). Once the pupils are familiar with the different techniques they can become more independent in learning their spellings by choosing an approach which they prefer. I don't claim this to be rocket science but I have used these strategies and they have worked for my pupils (Y1/2/3/4)
