This is a recording sheet for comparing five myths (all available in Tes elements Literacy) in terms of characters, plot and outcome. This document is editable so you can change the stories to be analysed to suit your lesson.
There is also space for pupils to add in details for their own story.
This is a great way of helping students analyse text and understand story building and structure. This can also be used as the basis for an independent creative writing task.
