Hello, my name is Tanya Lawrence. After many years of teaching music in both state & private schools, I now teach in my own small, private studio. I've always enjoyed the challenge of creating my own resources within the skill scope of a particular class and/or around a specific topic. Now, I'm enjoying offering some of these to help other teachers create their own exciting music lessons. I welcome constructive feedback on any of them.

This is one of a series of six micro-lessons for teachers and students. Each one covers a specific aspect of music theory. By watching this video, your pupils should gain a clear understanding of how major key signs with sharps are formed and how to calculate them with confidence.
Suitable for any student (or primary non-music specialist) wishing to strengthen their grasp of music theory. Especially useful for students aiming for GCSE music.
Thanks for looking at my resource. If there is any other music related topic you would like a video on, please let me know.
